This year was quieter than last year , not much fireworks(illegal) , lion dance etc .... maybe recession :D . This CNY was same as last year , doing the same thing again & again , nothing much different . The thing different is lesser ang pao , recession effect again ....

well thats it.... nothing much to post about.

Today , got the chance to go Sg.wang . My family wanted to do some last min shopping. So , this time i try my luck for the lens again(few post back) . but this time the scenario was the other way around . this time i get my dad to buy , dunno he got cash already . but when i went into the shop and ask for the lens , after checking they tell me no more stock , i was like WTF!! ok , next i try another shop, and the same answer was given .

No stock ,only left nikon model etc etc ... i ask all the camera shop in sg.wang also dun have . So
try my luck at LYP , also same answer i was damn pissed and cursing . ok thats it!! After my family done shopping , i went to Pudu Plaza , there got a camera shop which sell all kinda stuff , this time they have . i was totally happy and cursing was in off mode. then after trying the lens around with their 40D , it was quite good no focus problem . then i do a rechecking for the lens inside , and after examine the lens element i found something not rite , got something trasprent like finger print on the element , it was not on the rear nor the front element . so its the element inside , i gave it to the guy and ask him see , he see and also saw it , then he gave to his boss , and also he said got QC problem . OK , he said he will change one. after he went to the com and check , i saw his face laughing . i was like WTF that doesn't look good , he came and said today is ur bad day , that was the last unit they have.

i was totally shock , speechless and cursing was in the on mode. they said they only have stock
maybe!!! maybe after CNY ...... haih ..... what to do , got the $$$ also no use

When we were young , during the arrival CNY we would be like super excited about it & can't wait for the first day. The atmosphere of CNY was in the air , u can feel it , its like running through ur vein . We were excited about lion dance performance , especially where the last part where they throw mandarin orange to the crowd and we would try and catch it . Those was like old times .

After growing up , it seems that those excitement was gone . It is there physically but its just not the feel in the heart . It must be our mind which has been changing :P Think of it , it was quite foolish about what we have done in the pass . well things have change alot for most ppl. As for me , I have new friends , new environment. we meet alot of different kinda things this is what we call the exposure to the outside world & is part of our stepping stone
Different things will apper eventually , we can't escape from it forever . Its now or never , face it or lose it , that it . well u know what i mean , i'm sure :)

Today went to Peremba Square , Saujana Resort near Subang airport.
went for CCD cleaning :D its totally free and while waiting u can have
nestcafe :P The good thing that they do it quick and efficient but bad thing is
that there are still 3/4 small dust in it . after checking previous photo , those
dust are new , maybe after cleaning it , the shutter close and brought in back some
dust .... well nothings perfect rite . still they did a good job . btw , they even clean
my viewfinder . Canon Rockz!!!! i'll support Canon forever :P

as u can see , dust are not visible at f/10 or below that , so if urs got any leave it or just
give it a good clean , for me i can't stand it , i'm a perfectionist :P

ah , another sad thing is that , they found out that my Canon 75-300mm f3.5-5.6 USM got
fungus , i just found out on the spot , god . They can clean it for RM150 but must check
that does it removable . so i leave it there for them to check and wait for their call . hopefully
can . This is why drybox is important . i'll learnt my lesson . spare me next time pls :)

Yesterday , i almost convinces my dad to get me a new Lens, but still
fail , cause he dun want to pay 3% for the credit charges & he only pays
with cash . Oh god ... I got the money but not inhand , so need to find
temporary banker :P . i'll get it someday but see when ..

This is Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro

its almost the same as the canon one but with without the 'L' which looks like this



This is Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L this cost about RM4k+ which almost double the
price of sigma. of course canon is the better one , but with the sigma
costing less than half of canon why not go for siggy :P



The only down side of this lens is that its super heavy and huge filter size(82mm)*smackhead*

Btw , i'm sending My 400D to Canon Main Branch in Subang for a sensor cleaning , before i start shooting for CNY :D hope they dun mess up

This is where the people shop , not that same with us . There is so many bicycle
and Motorcycle btw , they are all electrical power , it is to prevent pollution
in the city , good huh . Too bad , not here in Malaysia . Then lesser Mat rempit :P
